Great stay in Troon

Walking distance to central of Troon. Very comfortable furnishings. Felt like home from home. Easy access into the property with key safe. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

− The shelf in the living room was the wrong height for our toddler who bumped his head. I don’t really understand its necessity.

Accommodation was lovely and the views were great. Most of what you will need has been provided. Easy to get to places, especially by car but possible to walk too. Good secure parking. This is one of the best places we have stayed and was the closest to perfect we have seen. Just a few issues to address which would see it get 10/10.

− There are a few issues but together they made the stay slightly disappointing. The booking system was overly complicated, without needing to be but there was good communication. However, on arrival the Central Heating was not switched on, this was not what we were expecting (from the check in info) but, after a quick phone call, we managed to switch it on. There was a shelf in the living room that was hanging off the wall and the pull cord for the bathroom light was lying on the windowsill, and this was too high up to reach to reattach. There was only a small amount of toilet roll, we did not realise we would need to supply this (especially since there were towels provided). It is also impossible to sit on the ensuite toilet when the heating is on without burning your leg on the towel rail, very dangerous! The heating seemed to have a mind of it's own - set it to 22°C and it went up to 30°C. There was also quite a bit of creaky floorboards and snoring to be heard from the people in the up stairs flat. But there is not much that can be done about this, except ear plugs!

House beautiful and very clean. Very comfortable and relaxing. Location fab to enjoy exploring the area and great places to eat out :)

− The only thing we got confused with on trying to enter the property was the two key holders on the outside door. We were trying to access using the old one but should have read the instructions correctly advising us which one to use. Maybe the removal of the old one would be of help to stop anymore confusion but we phoned the manager and he advised us the correct one to use, ended well :)
