9.0Nice location. Private garden - lovely. Plenary of space for a family.
− Living room is very dark, felt a bit like sitting in a basement. The bed in smaller bedroom was too hard.

A well maintained cottage in a good location.
8.0Really spacious and well decorated property; a nice big garden and near to some lovely places, eg Fell Foot and Newby Bridge.
− The lane was rather busy and driving in and out a but risky - no pavements. The bed was rather hard although I got used to it - the pillows were huge, soft, couldn't find a happy medium for sleep support. Most annoyingly there was no tv manual and had to struggle with some help frim the owner to re-establish viewing terrestrial channels. A manual is essential. Traffic queues during holiday periods need to be expected.
Ideal location for exploring southern lake district
9.0Great location and very comfortable to just lounge when weather wasn't perfect for other activities. Enclosed garden ideal for the dog.
− Laurel hedges in garden could do with some trimming to allow more light into living room.
