Everything was great: the schoolhouse is very clean and cozy and the location is beautiful. Marie, the owner, is very kind and it was a pleasure to meet her.

A cosy hidden gem that we hope to return to

The old school house was a real home away from home. We used the accommodation whilst visiting family nearby and would definitely recommend and reuse again in the future. The building has been restored to a very high standard and the cosy fire every evening was wonderful to snuggle down with a movie. We all slept well and awoke to lovely sunrises over Lough Ree. Nearby walks and swim at Judy’s harbour were an added bonus. Marie was very welcoming and available for any additional needs- and the brown bread on arrival was delicious.

Quaint but modernized. And very comfortable. Convenient to Roscommon and Athlone.
