Calm and wonderful
10.0A wonderful villa in a beautiful riverside location. The garden is full of lush tropical plants, and you can see monkeys in the trees, birds, and squirrels all around, which makes the place feel very special and close to nature. Inside everything is very clean, and there is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, which is very convenient. The host is extremely welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. We felt very well taken care of during our stay. A peaceful and charming place – highly recommended!

10.0Our stay at villa river edge was great! We were a little unsure on the location to begin with due to being two female travellers however this was no problem at all. It is very easy to take a tuk tuk or scooter to town. The apartment is wonderfully spacious and clean, and the garden was a dream with the views and all the animals. Sahan really took care of us during our time there and was extremely lovely. Weligama can be a little full on at times but this apartment was a sanctuary. Thank you to Sahan, hope to see you again!

10.0This was such a great place for our holiday. The place is situated where it’s really peaceful and quiet, which is what we hoped for since we find Weligama quite busy with all the people and traffic. The garden is like an oasis! We slept very well in a comfy bed with nice pillows and classy sheets. Mr Sahan was really helpful with everything. He arranged dinner for us when we came, since it was quite late in the evening. He also arranged so we could rent a scooter during our whole stay and when we talked about going on safari, he was happy to help us to get to Udawalawe at an affordable price. We were so well taken cared of! And when we left we could check out later so we could spend the day at the beach before we left. Do notice that you might need a scooter or other vehicle to go to the beach or to the city center. It’s a really good place and they will surly do everything to make you feel welcomed and at home. Thank you guys for making our holiday the best.

8.0Was clean and modern. Had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The staff were really helpful. Location was slightly out of the main strip but meant it was peaceful. Really good place, would definitely stay here again.
