The facilities were exactly what we were looking for. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

− The drive in was bumping, it is a farm drive! The shower leaked over the bath.

Excellent property very clean. Great hosts who provided adequate information prior to arrival. Good internet and lovely comfortable beds. Everything you need for self catering. Beautiful area. Superb value for money.

− It's a short walk from Powderham Castle where we were attending a concert. It was really difficult to get back and it wasn't safe to walk due to there being no pavements.

Lovely location in rural Devon. Turning right out of the drive and a 30m walk on the main road brings you to a system of single-track lanes that are ideal for a walk - with or without a dog. Smart TV in lounge. Lounge was cosy and ample in size and included dining table. Reliable WI-FI via starlink. Well-equipped kitchen. Two good-sized bedrooms. Nice big bath with plenty of hot water. Good communication from the hosts.

− The dishwasher was out of order - but these things happen. The driveway from the main road was full of potholes and would be a problem for some cars. A bit specific but maybe the addition of some cooking trays for the oven would be a suggestion. We cooked pizzas and the lack of trays meant we had to place them directly onto the oven shelves with some melted cheese spillage. Trays would help to keep the oven clean.

The place was lovely, clean, peaceful and the owners are so helpful. If I had any questions the owners answered them. They advised us of a lovely pub for dinner. The place was just what we needed for a night stay
