7.0Very comfortable bed. Clean, quiet, private, relaxing, lovely view of the ocean from a distance. Great place as a retreat for a single person, or a couple. Nice shower, generous with variety of tea or coffee.
− I could not work the bench oven to heat food. I could not work the plug-in stove top to cook. Following their instruction booklets step by step for both, still wouldnt work for me. The TV is set as Chromecast. I followed instructions for that but my device wouldn't recognize their wifi connection. It all seemed too hard and frustrating for me. Keep things simple. The owners did not invite any communication. There are 2 Kaiteretere retreats. This one is high up in the hills. I recommend having a car for this stay.
I didn't spent much time in the apartment as I was enjoying the beautiful NZ nature

− I thought it was quite tricky to find bit dark if you arrive in the night in advertisement mentioned 300m to beach, but it should have a waring that its a steep hill
