Casa ótima, boas instalações, limpeza e a anfitriã super simpática.

− Localização. Muito longe do centro! Não tem acesso de carro e nem de moto! São 30 min de caminhada do ponto de estacionamento do centro de Capri até o local! 30 min de caminhada subindo ladeiras! Isso foi desgastante demais, cansativo e desmotivador!

A fantastic house away from all the tourists!

The house is big, clean, quiet, well-equipped. Three bedrooms and two bathroom, terrace with evening sun. Good AC and wifi. Away from all tourists! Nice cat visiting us every evening. Wonderful hosts who treated us with both Limoncello and homemade pizza (the best pizza we've ever had in Italy!). The hosts live in the same house and you basically share the terrace with them, although they are "out of sight" from them whilst on the terrace. This makes it easy to ask questions and get help. The house is located on the eastern part of the island, just a five minutes long walk from the fantastic Villa Lysis (go there!) and around 20 minutes from Villa Jovis (emperor Tiberius legendary main palace on Capri). This makes it very calm and we basically saw no tourists whatsoever there during our stay. Note: getting there takes some time since it's located on the car-free part of the island. From the harbour you take the funicular to the Piazzetta, where you exit in the "upper right corner" (viewed from the point of entry) and then just follow the road until you reach your destination. According to the hosts this should take 25 minutes; according to Google Maps (which functioned very badly on the narrow streets of Capri) it should take 37 minutes. This might well be true were it flat ground and without luggage to drag along. With our (wheeled) suitcases of 20+ kilos, and it being mainly uphill all the time, it took us almost an hour to go there, and we're in good shape and are used to walking with luggage. But it's totally worth it! (Downhill is a little easier, but walking downhill, with the "brakes on" is also taxing.) The neighbourhood is very nice-looking with orchards and wonderful villas and lazy cats. There is a grocery store some 800 steps from the house (you pass it when you walk to the house) where they have everything you need. We would love to stay here again! Highly recommended!!

− The only problem is that the hosts smoke. Given that we are avid non-smokers, and one of us suffer from chronic coughing, we initially thought that this would ruin the experience (since you basically share the terrace) but after (kindly, we hope) pointed this out the hosts did their best to not smoke whilst we were outdoors (but smoke has a way to find its way, regardless). So a little warning if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke.

The decor and atmosphere were stunning. Made us feel like locals. Good to have our own kitchen and balcony.

− Back bedroom was a bit too tight to get in and out of bed.

I liked the apartment villa and the cleanliness, as well as the Host has welcomed us exceptionally. Pamela was a great host and very helpful, showing us the best restaurants, cafes, pubs and other landmarks, very much appreciated!

− The location of the Casa la Felicità was located outside of the Capri island center. It was quite challenging to get uphill, and I would suggest that only people in a good physical shape and avid hikers to consider it!
