A great spot but the house needs some love.

The house is in a great spot. Really central but still quiet. The management company were very helpful when we had problems with the heating.

− The house feels shabby and in need of repair. We had no heating on arrival. The upstairs heating was quickly sorted by Stuart the plumber despite it being Sunday, but the under floor heating downstairs never worked and we relied on the small fan heater. The house is very damp and there is mould and peeling paint on the walls and windows. The window catch is broken in the back bedroom. The small garden is dirty and unusable - it clearly hasn’t been swept or jet washed for a long time.

Pleasant stay, good spot for exploring.

The location was great, although parking nearby a little difficult to unload.

− The heating and hot water kept going off, which made the property very cold!

Not the usual positive experience.

The location was superb although car park was up a steep hill and a 10min walk.

− The property was not cleaned after the previous occupiers. I had to call the company to ask for someone to come and clean as it was unpleasant. They responded quickly but I have not heard back from company at all. The dehumidifier was on all week but there was a constant damp smell all week which was unpleasant. The boiler would stop working as it lost pressure which was annoying as it was very cold on some days. Only 3 dish wash tablets left for a whole week!! Overall, not the normal standard I have had from booking.com from many years using them.
