Schitterende villa dichtbij Santa Cruz
9.0Fraaie, en authentieke villa, direct aan zee, met prachtig uitzicht op zee en een mooi zoutwater zwembad. Villa is ruim, met grote slaapkamers elk met eigen badkamer en goede bedden. De ligging is gunstig, dichtbij de luchthaven, en op loopafstand van Santa Cruz, waar diverse restaurants zijn, en een heel erg lekkere bakker. Een huurauto is aan te raden om de rest van Madeira te verkennen. Binnen 20 minuten rijden sta je in het centrum van Funchal. Contact met de eigenaar via WhatsApp verloopt goed. Wat ons prima beviel is dat de villa uit twee "huizen" bestaat. De villa zelf met twee slaapkamers en de naastgelegen studio met één slaapkamer. Praktisch dat je na het zwemmen ook buiten warm kunt douchen. Kunnen deze villa van harte aanbevelen.
− De villa voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Echter het verfwerk verdiend hier en daar wat aandacht. Ook waren er diverse (buiten)lampen stuk. Licht schakelaars zitten niet altijd op een logische plek. Kortom alles was prima, maar er is ruimte voor verbetering dan gaven we een 10

10.0Everything! Fabulous villa with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable home from home stay. It has both modern facilities, with a beautiful timeless character, new modern bathrooms throughout, with gorgeous showers. Sometimes it feels like you're on a yacht or ocean liner. I loved it! Great location and setting, right on the sea, and the amazing views and sounds of the ocean enthrall you. The pool and garden area, are like a tropical oasis, you'll find lovely surprises all around. Did I mention the view??! 😍 It's a 10 minute walk to the town, mostly along the waterfront. The host, Pedro and his father Joseph are really kind gentlemen who were so helpful to us. Joseph drove us himself to the little town and recommended restaurants etc. and showed us where the supermarkets etc. are. And Pedro, what can I say... He really went out of his way, with such kindness and generosity, when our flight home was cancelled (due to storm Eowyn). He certainly went above and beyond what anyone could hope for, especially when it wasn't even his problem. We are so grateful! Our 2 grown up sons (19 and almost 21) came with us, and we have holidayed in many, many various places, been on lots of cruises and they say it's the best accommodation we've ever stayed at, I have to agree! If you're thinking of booking.. Do it! You will not be disappointed! You will thank yourself when you arrive.

10.0Pedro is a great host, responsive and helpful. Villa has an amazing view. The pool is great, pretty big, warm water even in May. Living area is very bright and is extended by spacious terrace, which is perfect place to enjoy meals in sunny weather.

9.0The view was stunning. The open concept patio/dining room was awesome. The pool was nice. The owner showed us a supermarket right away and made us feel at home. Excellent coffee machine.
− The mattress in the smaller room needs to be replaced and the bathroom needs to be updated.
