9.0A wonderfully elegant and charming hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and exceptionally warm and friendly staff. Located right in the heart of Ambleside, it is perfect for morning and evening strolls and provides easy access to sightseeing around the Lake District. The complimentary breakfast is also very good. Although the price is on the high side, that's simply to be expected in such a popular destination as the Lake District.
