It must be lovely in summertime, and had a cozy beach house vibe in the spring time, with all that it entails!
8.0The place is large, the bedrooms are spacious, the fireplace is lovely, there is an ocean view from some windows, and it is a short walk to the beach. The staff was responsive via text message, and there was plenty of wood available for the wood stove. The kitchen is loaded up with all you need, and there is a little yard with grass for kids to play. The bathroom is lovely with the heating lamps and bathtub, although the glass panel made it tricky to wash the kids. There are plenty of kids books, movies, and a few toys to keeps the kids entertained on a rainy day. The town is nearby, and there is a convenience store around the corner.
− It was cold and humid when we got there, so there was a smell of humidity even on the bedsheets, the space blankets, cushions and couch. It is a beach house, so it has to be expected. We moved the couch and it was dusty with crummies underneath, and the usual suspects were also dusty (lamps, lightbulbs, etc.), which is also to be expected from a beach house we suppose. The washing machine took a solid 10 tries over 24 hours to finally work - but the agent tried to be helpful via text message. The oven door won’t close fully, but food still gets heated up. The bathroom is near the mud room, so a bit chilly in the spring time when kids have to go at night. The dining room is also in a separate room with plenty of sunlight - just make sure you leave the living room door open on cold days!
