Very spacious unit, very clean, good linen and lots of blankets, big screen TV, safe parking, good security, aircons and electric blankets. We didn't have access to the TV and WiFi the first 2 days, also the gas for hot water ran out, but Cindy was VERY friendly and helpful and sorted everything out for us. We also asked for more hangers, a bin for the bathroom and clean towels which she provided.

− The lodge was peaceful and quiet, but we were aware of the traffic noise from the N3. We were mostly there at night and did not use the stove, but the kitchen was not sufficiently stocked with cutlery and cooking utensils for self-catering. Small details like bedside lamps, bins in the bedrooms and bathroom, complimentary coffee and sugar, dish cloths and a shower caddy would make a huge difference.

The property is good and bigger than expected. The place has a lot of potential. The staff were very friendly, Cindy makes you feel welcome.

− They need to improve their check-in method. When I arrived, I discovered that they placed other people in the property I booked, because they assumed the bigger group booked a bigger place, instead of checking the booking. Before booking I saw that previous customers left comments saying the bathroom door handle is broken and thought it would be fixed by the time of my stay. However, it was still broken when I got there. Lastly, someone needs to supervise the cleaners. The loft room wasn't clean and had what looked like lizard or mice droppings on the furniture and the floor that looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. I had to call the cleaner to come clean the room first. If they fix these things, this really would be a great place to stay again.

Location, nice and remote. Peaceful and quiet. Close to the freeway, but you don’t even hear any traffic at all. The pictures are a perfect representation of what you actually get. The water was hot, good pressure in the shower.

− It was not clean. They were not ready for us. We asked for early check in 10-11am, they responded “No problem”, however we arrived at normal check in time at 14h00, we found the unit not ready, they were still scrambling to clean it. There isn’t enough cutlery to prepare food, not a single cutting knife, but it’s supposed to be self catering. We had to ask for dish washing liquid, we were given tissue instead of dish washing cloths. Dining room Aircon does not work. Some cutlery was dirty in the cutlery drawer. WiFi has very low speed.
