Many give it very good reviews but a bit of it a marmite property perhaps?
7.0Great location for everything we wanted to do in every direction from the property tho it is on a busy main A road to the front. The host lives next door and although we only met briefly, she was very friendly and helpful and I’m sure would only be too happy to help with local information and any issues with the property.
− Sitting room had a lovely large window but the seating/sofa was uncomfortable for us. Kitchen well equipped but if you cook a lot you will need to bring own sharp knives.

Everything you need for a very comfortable stay
9.0It’s a lovely house with two spacious double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. We had all the facilities we needed - washing machine, dryer, dish washer, even a large fan, a good size tv with Freeview, a coffee pod machine - we didn’t want for anything. Very comfortable beds and a walk-in shower. Plenty of towels. My dog was welcome and the owner even left us some dog food and treats for her, and shortbread, tea, coffee and milk for us. An added bonus was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! I appreciated the welcome sign for us too!
− The living room furniture wasn’t as comfortable as it could be - I’d have loved a cosy sofa to snuggle into. The living room layout is also a bit odd, it’s long and fairly narrow with the original front door (not used) leading straight into it. With a fireplace being the main focal point, everything is focused on that instead of the lovely view across the water. There were an awful lot of unnecessary knick-knacks which had to be put out the way.
