Typical Welsh stone cottage in rural location
7.0Generally a comfortable stone farm cottage. A rustic Welsh feel. Lovely and clean.
− No outside (or inside) light on arrival. Arrival time after 4pm, in winter it’s dark. Weren’t sure if at correct accommodation as through the dark could see another property adjacent. Cottage was cold on arrival, no logs for fire so had to head back out (Sunday evening) to try to find a service station selling logs… in rain, cold and dark country lanes and unfamiliar environment. Would have helped to have at least some logs to warm the room. Postcode given didn’t take us to property so drove around for a while to look for signage. No smoke alarm on first floor.

10.0We stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding at near by Llanerch Vineyard. Great location, lovely place! We had a lovely stay. The wedding was on a Friday but given how lovely the cottage was we made a weekend of it.
− There wasn't anything we didn't like. Cosy and comfortable. We stayed with 3 teenage children, it wasn't obvious from the photos but the pull out bed was in with the other large bed.. there was no way they wanted to share a room with a parent! :) Maybe if the property description included this it might help future guests.. but certainly wasn't an issue for us. The sink was a little bit leaky we think, but doesn't seem to be anything the owners cannot easily resolve.
