Location and room

− Too many people sharing kitchen and refrigerator food storage was unorganized

Completely disappointed and would have forfeited our money if we could have paid for a new place.

We chose it for the location, which was perfect for who we were visiting and what we were doing while we were there. We also liked the furnishings of the home.

− The property came up in a search for a home to rent, not a room. We never intended to rent just a room, so it was a surprise to us. We also reached out to the property an hour before checkin because we had not yet received instructions on how to enter the property. We were being dropped off by Uber with our luggage and were running 20 minutes early, so had to be dropped off down the street until we heard from them. We received the information 1 minute after check-in time and then walked to the property. We only packed clothes for a few days and chose this home because of the washer/dryer. It wasn't until after we arrived that we were informed we could not do laundry outside of the hours of 9am-9pm, so had to change our plans in order to finish laundry. There was a chair in our room with terribly "peeling" upholstery that we had to gather daily or it would get on our socks, skin, and clothes. A sliding glass door in our room overlooked a patio, but the blinds did not completely cover the door so we had to do what we could to remedy that. The flooring in our bedroom is not laid well, so it creaks with every step which was frustrating. THE WORST part is on our last evening there, the manager of the home let herself into our room after 10pm when we were in bed reading stating that she had our check-out day confused, but instead of leaving immediately, kept trying to explain. There was also a lot of rain while we were there and the plants -although absolutely stunning - along the sidewalk to the front door are overgrown, so we had to walk through them as we came and went. There was also only two bath towels and one washcloth in the bathroom, so we used our bath towel for hand towels as well.

the location is great, bed is comfortable

− only 2 pillows, no privacy, lots of water damage in the floors that made them very noisy, blinds in disrepair, dirty sock left by a prior guest, heater also very noisy
