the place was very nicely renovated the bed was extremely comfortable the shower pressure and temperature were fabulous when all the rooms are finished this place will be a must stop for travelers on a low budget

− the limited seats available for sitting out side the room complimentary coffee and danish,yougurt ,bananas ?? would have been great but the crossroad diner was great and you could walk to it

The room was as pictured and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows quite fluffy! Parking was at the door to the room so that was convenient. The temperature in the room was comfortable. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in working order. Towels were fluffy and the shower was hot (as desired).

− One minor nit: I didn't bring my blow dryer because a blow dryer was listed as one of the amenities and there wasn't actually a blow dryer in the room. One less minor nit: There are no drapes in the room and the blinds don't provide adequate privacy. If you're standing in the bathroom door, you can see outside the room, which means someone passing by could see you standing there in your underwear (or less). The BIG PROBLEM was that I felt unsafe in my room due to several factors, all of which are easily remedied, but until and unless they are, I would never advise a single female traveler to stay here.. To begin, when I checked in, I was advised that the room was already unlocked so I didn't need to use the door code (on the keypad) to get in and would only need to use the code if I went out and locked the door behind me. So it's late in the evening, and I have to walk into a room that's been left unlocked? Someone else could have gone into the room before me and, if this is their usual routine, anyone who has stayed there or worked there before knows this. That's not safe! So I go in and do a quick search and there's no one there. Good. I go to lock the door and the lock on the knob doesn't work (and there's a sign on the door saying not to use that lock anyway) and you can only lock the deadbolt for which you've been given the code. When I came into the room, I found a note on the desk that included the code for the door and it matched the code I'd been given at the front desk. So either that note was left over from the previous tenant (and the code doesn't change from guest to guest) or they do change the code but then leave it on the desk in an unlocked room that anyone could have gone into and seen the code. Now when I've locked the door, I can't be sure someone else doesn't know the code. How is this secure? There's also no chain on the door.

− The entire thing. The hotel was back in the woods. The office was not clear on where to check in. Felt like I was walking into someone's living space. The room smelled of mold and there were bugs throughout. Not everywhere but everywhere you looked there were spiders. The bathroom door would not latch. When we told the tenant that the room smelled of mold they told us we need to turn on the ac. This was rated a 7.2 on the site but it's not even close. If you are going on a long trip and need a place to rest, this is it. If you're looking for a place to stay a couple days, this is not it
