The house inside was lovely, although alot smaller than we were expecting.

− The garden is shared and unkempt. The flower beds are weeds and the paved area hadn't been cleaned. It is over looked by a hotel which also shares the car park meaning there is a chance you wont get a parking space. There was an hen do at the hotel the weekend we went, so it was noisy and we didnt feel comfortable using outside. We went into the hot tub on one occasion but quickly got out due to what seemed to be scum floating on top when we turned the jets on. For the price we would have expected basics like milk.

Fabulous modern property location great hot tub and sauna.

− No coat hooks or anywhere to put shoes after walks no draws in bedroom or bathroom basically no storage to put anything

Stylish, good quality finish and very clean.

− Lack of any laundry facility was disappointing. Premium priced self-catering accommodation should cover basic requirements.

Inside interiors

− Don’t be fooled by the lovely online images. Externally, it was far from an idyllic hideaway. Terrace overlooked a hotel car park, had a shared garden which isn’t mentioned and was overgrown and badly manicured, sits right on one of the busiest roads into Bowness. Issues with parking, no spaces due to hotel residents taking them. Broken heating so we couldn’t try any towels, and was not rectified during our stay. The list goes on ……
