Just the fact that it’s a 4 bed apartment

− Literally every thing,from the moment I paid for this apartment,I realized I have got into deep shit. The staffs only contacted me after I have paid to write down a lot of things that will make you question your stay. I even went as far as requesting booking.com to get my money back.I have sleepless nights thinking of what I have got myself and money into. The staffs speaks inconsiderable and rudely. And they will try to frustrate you not to go through their action so you fall fit your money. Nothing is even working there.the washing machine,the hoover,the shower,the fridge is shit. BE AWARE THEY WILL EXCLUDE THE HOT TUB ONCE THEY GOT YOUR MONEY. GENERALLY BOOK THIS APARTMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Disappointing. There was no hot water even after messaging the host several times. Communication with the host was poor.

I liked the location as it was close to everything we needed. I enjoyed the hot tub.

− I did not like the cleanliness at all. The very long message I received the morning of told me I had to make sure all dishes were done and that if there were stains on towels or robes that I would be charged. There was nothing provided for dishes to be done and dried with. Every towel and robe already had stains on them. All cutlery and cups needed to be washed before I was able to use them. I could go on.

Great location about a 20 minutes walk straight down the road into Portrush town. Its dog friendly and unlike a lot of dog friendly places I have stayed at, the back garden is fully secure, so there was absolutely no stress leaving the back door open and letting them dander in and out. Beds and rooms were fairly comfortable. The hot tub area looked well maintained and was well positioned.

− Im sure this would be a great accommodation if you were here to see Portrush or the north coast itself. Unfortunately we had been looking for dog friendly accommodation with a hot tub where we could spend some time with friends in and around the actual property. The accommodation itself doesn't really lend itself to this and there isn't a lot of communal space for a group of 6. We hadn't picked up on the small size of the kitchen or the lack of dinning space when we booked. But this was very problematic for cooking and eating at the property. The kitchen facilities themselves were not great. The cooker was exceptionally slow to warm up and the air fryer was tiny. Also only one of the plug sockets in the kitchen was working, so we could only use the air fryer or kettle one at a time. In addition the hot tub itself wasn't working when we arrived. Given that this was the main reason we booked the accommodation this was very disappointing. There is an extra charge for booking the hot tub, which was refunded, but this is only a small fee and didnt make up for the fact we had paid the full price for the booking on the basis that we would be able to use this facility. Im also a bit sceptical about when the owners knew that we wouldn't be able to use it. We got a message as part of the check in instructions that morning to say that it had been broke, but they had someone out who had fixed the issue and it would be warm enough for us to use the next day. On arrival it was clear that it wasn't on, and was not warming up. It took the owners several hours to respond when I asked about this. Only to be informed that it wouldn't be working at all, with no option to get someone over to look at it. The hot water in the house was also problematic for our size of group. And, although there was a switch for the hot water tank, this appeared to do very little.
