8.0Location was better than I expected, with lovely countryside views. The property is very spacious and the decor is nice.
− The utensils let it down; cheap cutlery, ladle handle loose, cork screw bent, etc. It was generally clean but not under/behind furniture/beds. TV bracket removed with holes filled but not painted. Needs more attention to the detail to make it 10/10

Tranquility and luxury
9.0Stayed for Christmas family break. Beautiful traditional furnishings. Two open fires. Large sitting room and extra snug. Plenty of space to relax. Great dining room. Beautiful views from the house. Really lovely house to stay in. Well stocked kitchen with all the cooking utensils and crockery we needed. Large fridge and freezer which was very useful for all our Christmas food! Lovely white bedding and large generous bath towels. The speaker provided was fab with plenty of volume to enjoy our music! Home from home and so easy to totally relax in.
− Not sign posted from the road so not easy to find in the dark, even with what3words. Make sure you read the notes about what is provided. I did and was well prepared bringing our own dish cloths, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, soap, shampoo etc to last our whole stay. (But was a bit disappointed that only 2 loo rolls were provided for 6 people. Meant we had to go out shopping the day before Christmas)
