Very disappointing
4.0Location great. Staff were polite and helpful. Bed linen was clean and towels clean
− The room was scruffy and the bathroom scruffy with stained flooring. The window in the bedroom opened but could not be secured open. The room was very hot. We asked to change rooms but they only had a twin. No hot water in the shower in the morning
Good stay in a very convenient hotel that was full of character
8.0Room was comfortable but up a narrow staircase on the top floor. Bathroom was huge and there was a handheld shower. very soft towels. Breakfast was not included but a very good breakfast was available at an exceptionally good price. Parking was free but you did have to register the car.
− Steep stairs case could be an issue for some people or people was lots of luggage.
An affordable, solid hotel for a short weekend away
7.0The room had a fan and hair dryer provided, which was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and free parking on site in a private car park was a great benefit. Location was very convenient as well for going to Silverstone via Bicester park and ride service. Check in/out was very flexible and efficient
− The shower had very low pressure, meaning the water came out more like a dribble. It was useable but not brilliant There was a lot of noise outside around 3am on the Friday morning, not ideal and appreciate little the hotel can do about that. However we had to shut the windows which was unfortunate given the heat last weekend. So if there was a way to keep rooms cooler that would help
