10.0Wood Cottage is situated very close to the Yorkshire Moors 🏞, pretty villages, stunning coastline 🌊, historical wonders 🏰 and beautiful countryside 🌳. You are guaranteed a warm, 😊 welcome from your hosts, Sandra and David. The cottage is set in their charming garden and is a delight of comfort - everything you need for a perfect stay with extra thoughtful touches and detail to ensure a memorable holiday 😌. Sandra's breakfast choices 🍳🥓🥑 were excellent and delicious 😋. I had a most joyous 🤗 time. Sandra and David, thank you for your care 🤲🏻 and kindness.🦋. Karen 🌹

10.0We had a lovely stay at wood cottage, we booked the chalet and it was perfect. Immaculate so comfortable and everything you could need, Dave and Sarah were so lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t recommend enough.
− A taxi into Scarborough was around £21 but it’s worth paying to stay in a lovely location.

10.0We stayed in the balcony room during a period of very high temperatures. The room was decorated and furnished to a high standard and has a huge picture window looking out over countryside. This could have caused an issue with temperature but the room had been kept cool and was fitted with air-conditioning. Sandra made sure we had everything we needed for our stay including water in the fridge, teas coffee and milk. Nothing was too much trouble small details made the stay extra special. I was especially impressed that it had been remembered I took sweeteners with my coffee and my chosen sauce from the first breakfast was waiting for me on the second. Sandra helped with local knowledge providing details of stores, pubs and even bus time tables. The en suit bathroom had shower and jacuzzi bath as well as access to the balcony which was lovely to sit out on in the glorious weather. As per previous reviews, we were treated to card tricks at breakfast. A perfect weekend stay. £3 for a bus into Scarborough (we were going to the open air theatre) £22 for a taxi back.
