− no issues what so ever, only problem i had is that i had to work and wasnt staying over the weekend

− Some areas of the hotel could do with upgrading however there clearly are renovations ongoing.
Wonderful refurb.
9.0Superb refurbishment of the bedrooms and corridors (public rooms planned for later in 2026). Reception staff were really helpful & friendly. Following the closure of the wonderful Croft House in Cockermouth, were looking for a regular place for our frequent visits to Workington and this has become just that.
− The lad providing "service" at breakfast was close to clueless. We were assured by other guests that the previous day had been much better.

− The room could have done with blackout curtains - this is a necessity really.
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and comfortable stay
10.0The manor has been heavily refurbished, it’s now modern, which is a little shame that it’s lost and loosing some of it’s history / charm, but it’s beautiful still and very clean and comfortable
− The chandelier has been replaced by a modern strip light. It was a beautiful feature, so it’s a bit of a shame in my view
