Wonderful, family-friendly stay in a clean house with an amazing view and almost-private rocky beach

We are a family of three: two adults and a 4 year old child, and we stayed in the house for 7 nights. Overall, the experience was really good: clean house, amazing view, private beach (we visited it almost every morning, and there were at most another 4-5 people, usually we were alone with another local couple), a very good and calm/relaxing location, and cleaning supplies such as shampoo, soap, dishwashing liquid, etc. were provided, and the host was very nice and helpful. Very good bedding and towels. Also, the host provided some food (pasta, bread, crackers, jam, etc.) and water - this is extremely valuable when you arrive tired! Nea Fokea is not overcrowded by tourists, no loud music, bars, etc., hence it was a perfect location for a family. Several touristic towns are just 15 minutes away, like Siviri or Skala Fourkas, to buy some souvenirs and enjoy kids' carousels. We usually went to the private beach in the morning and to other beaches in the afternoon (highly recommend Simantro beach). The private beach is very rocky, so you need special shoes, which can be bought in the local shops for 11 euros. But because of the rocks and fewer people, it's good for snorkeling, and we saw a lot of fish. Our kid also enjoyed the crabs, hermit crabs, and sea urchins that you won't see on the perfectly sandy beaches like Simantro or Kalithea. A big plus of the house is that it has its own small terrace, and our child spent a lot of time playing there.

Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική, με μαγευτική και απεριόριστη θέα στη θάλασσα που σε χαλαρώνει από την πρώτη στιγμή. Το κατάλυμα ήταν καινούριο, πεντακάθαρο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο με ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες και στην περιγραφή. Οι χώροι ήταν προσεγμένοι μέχρι την παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια και δημιούργησαν μια πολύ όμορφη και άνετη ατμόσφαιρα. Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν ευγενική, φιλική και πάντα διαθέσιμη να βοηθήσει. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
