Very easy to collect the keys from the key box

− Some areas could do with a lick of paint and the bathroom floor was wet with what seemed like a leak from the bath.

Location

− I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction following a recent stay at your holiday apartments from Friday 11th July to Monday 14th July 2025, which we had booked to celebrate a very special occasion – my mother’s 80th birthday. From the outset, it was clear that the standard of both accommodation and service was far below what one would reasonably expect. Before we had even finished unpacking the car, a guest from the apartment below approached us to ask whether our internet was working – it was not. Upon entering our apartment, we discovered that we too had no Wi-Fi. Despite contacting your team on several occasions, we were informed that the issue would not be addressed until Monday – the day of our departure – rendering the service entirely useless to us during our stay. This issue was only the beginning. The apartment itself was poorly maintained, unhygienic in places, and simply unfit for the purpose of hosting paying guests. The following issues were particularly concerning: • During a heatwave, the sunroom windows could not be opened, as they were locked and no key was provided. • The kitchen was inadequately equipped, with a poor selection of saucepans and cooking utensils. • The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and visibly unclean, and it did not function. • The kitchen units were dirty on the inside, structurally unsound, and in need of replacement. • Wardrobes and drawers in the bedrooms were mouldy, stained, and unclean. • Dirty socks under the bed from previous occupants. • Several floor tiles in the kitchen were loose, with missing grout – posing a safety risk. • The locking mechanism for the blinds in one bedroom was broken. When our 10-year-old son attempted to open them, the entire fixture nearly collapsed on him. • The en-suite bathroom light failed on the very first evening. • A large crack was visible in one of the front windows. What compounded these issues was the dismissive service from your team.

It was a lovely place to stay and was a fantastic location. Would definitely stop again 😀

− The only thing I would suggest is updating the utensils in the kitchen and the WiFi we really struggled with it wouldn't connect at all. Unfortunately the dishwasher had a fault so we wasn't able to use it

− Some of the furniture needs refreshing/ maintenance and the kitchen is very dated in comparison to the rest of the property.
