Fabulous rainforest sanctuary
9.0A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of San Juan and the busy roads along the coast. The Garden Suite is superbly appointed with comfortable beds in separate rooms, a nice lounge/dining area and wonderful views from the private garden. Very nice and varied breakfast each morning that can be taken in the room or with fellow guests at a large communal dining table. We enjoyed both options.

10.0Bill & Renee are incredible hosts. We loved the saltwater pool the beautiful quiet setting breakfast were amazing. The beds were very comfortable. The unit unit had a wonderful wraparound porch to sit on and listen to all the creatures of the rainforest. It was very comfortable, decorated beautifully.

8.0The breakfasts were amazing, creative and delicious, served to our veranda. The welcoming Pina Colada was the best. The resort is in a gated community and felt very safe. The grounds are cultivated rainforest with beautiful flowers and a tranquil terrace with a pool. The sounds of the frogs at night were mesmerizing. The accommodation was spacious; the kitchen was well-stocked and met all our needs. My husband loved the hammock on the veranda.
− The website emphasizes a romantic getaway with photos that show a more glamorous resort with a spa. This leads to an expectation of modernity. I initially felt disappointed that it did not match my impression based on the website description. The accommodation was upstairs from the owner's home. It was made of dark wood and seemed more like a log cabin than a high-end resort. Nevertheless,I appreciated the beautiful location and friendly staff. Perhaps they would do better to emphasize nature and tranquillity rather than glamour.

Unbelievably relaxing views and stay
10.0Absolutely stunning hotel. You will not find another place like this. It’s a mix between Hawaii and Costa Rica. You will be relaxed and take in beautiful views. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The daily coffee service is a great touch and breakfast was amazing. There is a yoga room and a pool that is bookable by the hour so that it can be private for just you.
− Not a lot of storage for clothes for a longer stay but the staff took care of their right away. The bed in the jungle suite is a hanging bed which may not be to everyone’s liking. The resort is very private and remote so be prepared to drive through a dark road if you’re going late at night but it’s so so worth it.
