Great value apartment a stones-throw from the beach, shops and restaurants.

Firstly, Lopud is an island you can fall in love with. The first sight of the very pretty town in a perfect bay is a delight, and we loved exploring the gelato stands and restaurants during our stay. We had great communication with the host who met us on arrival, and was also very accommodating to our request for a slightly delayed check-out. Complimentary beers in the fridge were a lovely touch. The apartment is in a very convenient location one minute from the beautiful bay and sandy town beaches. It has generously-furnished outdoor spaces, with comfortable seating for sun and shade. The view from the roof terrace is simply stunning and a fantastic spot to admire the sunset. It was also wonderful to be able to pick salad from the garden while admiring the huge swallowtail butterflies.

− We needed to use the sofa-bed for our teenage son which meant indoor space felt a little tight, but having said that, the lovely outdoor seating gave us plenty of options during the day. The kitchen was generally well-equipped but a few more bowls, plates and drinking glasses would be handy.

We had a lovely peaceful seating area amongst trees, great for breakfast and a shady area to relax out of the sun. We also had rooftop seating with loungers and a table and an astonishing sunset view over the sea and the rest of the island. Beds were all very comfortable, air conditioning and kitchen worked well. An outdoor shower was nice to rinse off under after the sea. Despite a bit of a language barrier, our host Ana was lovely and welcoming, very attentive and caring and made a delicious cake for us! The price for the facilities was very good and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

− It was slightly misleading on the booking which building we were going to be in. It shows lots of photos of sea facing properties, and there is an option when booking to select a preference of first floor or ground floor (which we selected) rooms. We ended up being in what appeared to be a different building behind a restaurant. Although in the end we actually preferred this due to the garden out the back of the building, the rooftop view and seating and overall privacy, it would have been good to know in advance that we weren't staying somewhere directly overlooking the sea and beach like we expected. There was also an issue with limited hot water, only 1/4 of us were able to take a hot shower consecutively, even when showering very quickly. We didn't mind too much due to the hot weather, and our host tried to help out but we struggled communicating a bit - I'm sure this issue is an easy fix though and it did not negatively impact our stay.

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung direkt am Meer

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer, von wo aus man auch direkt ins Wasser gehen kann. Davor kann man auch auf bereitgestellten Gartenmöbeln sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und zur Begrüßung gab es einen Kuchen sowie zwei kalt gestellte Biere. Alles war sauber und gemütlich, auch Badehandtücher wurden bereitgelegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
