Close to big temple

− - The whole day there was no power. THe UPS also failed and it was like a furnace after 2pm.They donot have gensets and the UPS is not maintained well..so if power fails there's no option but to go out. - The Fan in the bedroom is making so much noise that one cannot sleep. One of the bathroom lights goes off on its own. - No 24x7 contact

Nice location in a modern, well-maintained villa. A large, spacious room and a reception area on the first floor were at our disposal—a friendly and helpful owner.

− The Wi-Fi connection did not work during most of our stay (despite the owner's attempts to make it work)

Complimentary breakfast was not available for the amount we pay for the room.

− Worst Behaviour of Property Owners. They are very rude and Ruthless people and due to they unethical behaviour we have vacated the property at midnight 10 .30 PM. Greedy for money and at the time of check IN they don't talk anything. During the night time they visit the room and will create lot of non sense. NOT EVEN WORTH OF SINGLE STAR Our family had very BAD experience in this orange Homestay@Thanjavur Property owners behaved like local goons. I booked for 2 + 2 kids . but one more person joined with us for this trip at last moment. We checked in the room around 9 PM and the property owner gave keys to us and no discussion at that time. But, around 10 PM, both son and father( property owners ) came to our rooms abruptly and yelling on us and without asking us trying to enter room and I said my wife and kids are sleeping. But still allowed him to enter the room. They have started demanding more money Rs. 6000 for 5 people ( 3 adults + 2 kids) and there is only 1 bathroom. I know the demanded money is not worth it But I decided to pay considering the time and we are very tired( almost 24 hr travel) Other side, owner is shouted Get out of the property and our kids are scared . we decided to vacate immediately. apart from that we were in discussion for car rental around 3k to 3.5 k . but, they increased it to 5k at last minute and I am ready to pay that also.But due to their behavior cancelled everything and left the place calmly at mid night In between property owner is shouting like psycho path and our family members are scared and we decided to vacate the place at the night considering worst situation and owners behaviour. We booked another hotel around 10: 30 PM and we have left that place . Seems Booking.com is not having the proper check on the owners properties and owners. We trusted booking .com and booked. But, we struggled a lot at night eventhough we have valid pre reservation well in advance.
