10.0The fact that i was near the beach
− Nothing
Such an amazing place to stay, dolphins in the bay and nice house
8.0The view and the beach
− Cold
A memorable stay with breathtaking ocean views and the perfect place to relax and unwind.
7.0What we enjoyed most was the breathtaking ocean view and the warm, accommodating hospitality of the host. Both made our stay truly enjoyable and memorable.
− The main house would be even better with a built-in braai/fireplace on the stoep. It would create a warm and inviting space where guests could enjoy meals around the fire while taking in the beautiful ocean view, making the outdoor area comfortable and usable throughout the year.
FINE FOR ONE NIGHT
7.0The house is tastefully furnished, the shower was good and it was near the sea.
− The house has been divided so you could hear people on the other side very clearly. There is a big homeless problem in Port Nolloth and they clearly identify people that have come in for the night, so we were asked for money outside all the shops and had someone hammering on our front door at 22h00 wanting money. The bedroom lights didn't work and the house was very cold.
Look closely at the photos and reviews of apartment !
6.0The deck outside where you can watch the sun set over the sea. Small but nice garden.
− The apartment was outdated and had a very uncomfortable bed. The duvet is too small for the two single beds that form a double bed. The bed was too short and we are averaged in length. The open kitchen, dining ,sitting area of apartment has the whole length with glass windows/doors but only the entrance door can open. The bedroom and bathroom had a moulding smell , are dark and stuffy.as there are no windows. The barbeque inside the kitchen can't be used ,as a lot of smoke will be created . The kitchen is small and unpleasant. The old ,small gas stoof was in a tiny area. There was only minimum cutlery and dishes. No table cloth or place mats. As this apartment as well as the cottage form part of the 3 bedroom house, there are lot of inter-leading doors that have been covered with cupboards,or bookcases on wheels from our side. Every sound ,foot steps on wooden floors from adhesive parts could be heard. No privacy. A small heater that cannot warm up the space was found . The TV is tiny and in a very awkward place in the bedroom. Can't use it at all.
The one Bedroom unit was fine and we enjoyed our one night stay at Yield house.
6.0The location is good.
− We were booked in the Holoday Home. On arrival, Dee showed us our unit at the back and we immediately turned it down as there are no windows in the bedroom and it is very dark inside. To pay R1050 per night is a disgrace and the website pictures are very misleading. Dee upgraded us to the One bedroom unit, which was much more acceptable.
