Everything was fine. The room was very well equipped. The air conditioning always worked, and there was always hot water at the right pressure. The room was cleaned every two days. Breakfast was very good. There was always access to free drinking water. The beds had tight mosquito nets. The hotel is right on the beach, not far from the departure point for boat trips to neighboring islands. Meals were served right on the beach.

Positive experience with the dive centre

− From the outset, the tone was set negatively—unlike our previous travels including to remote locations worldwide, the person holding our name with the hotel logo was a porter rather than the driver. We were unaware of this arrangement until we reached the vehicle, where he unexpectedly requested payment. Ironically, we only handed over one of our four bags, as we prefer not to burden the drivers. During our stay, we experienced several issues: - No hot water during the designated times on the first two days. - The hotel provided no information about nearby amenities such as ATMs. When we inquired, the directions given were incorrect. - An empty green tea canister was in the room from check-in and was never refilled. - Shower gel was not replenished during our stay. - There was no bug spray available in the room. On some days, no one showed up to spray or to put up the nets. - No hairdryer in the room - When we arrived for breakfast at 6:30 AM, it took nearly 30 minutes for our order to arrive, leaving little time before the boat departure—defeating one of the main reasons for choosing to stay there. - The breakfast area was being swept at 6:30 AM, which is too late; cleaning should be done earlier, or at least prioritize seating areas for guests. - Staff refused to spray bug spray outside of set times. - The water bottle provided was insufficient for two people, requiring us to go downstairs at night to refill. One night, we had to descend two flights of stairs because the water was unavailable on our floor. - The stairs were poorly lit, creating safety concerns. - Staff did not communicate effectively with the dive centre regarding timing schedules. - Payment for excursions was not clearly explained; it was to be paid directly to the excursion company, which made it difficult for us and another guest who booked separately

Great place to stay at!

Everything was very clean and the location was perfect. Good and practical mosquito nets above the bed! The food was amazing and the staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend if you don’t know where to stay in Nosy Be. Very easy to book excursions for a good price. They have a great lounge area where you can see the sea and relax. They had two cute dogs that would welcome us downstairs for breakfast every day.
