A beautiful cottage ideal for a short stay
10.0An idyllic cottage within easy distance from Salisbury, Stonehenge, the coast, Paulton’s Park and Beaulieu. The cottage remained cool despite very hot weather. Lovely village walk through local woods with the dogs. It was well resourced with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the shower was good.
− The parking space was very tight for two cars. The recommended pub was closed on Thursdays and only open limited hours.

A classic, relaxing countryside getaway!
10.0We had an absolutely lovely stay at this beautiful property in June 2026. The cottage is incredibly cosy and full of historic character, providing a wonderful, comforting atmosphere to return to each evening. The placement of the cottage is ideal. It made our journeys into Stockbridge and the surrounding areas incredibly easy, serving as a perfect base for exploring this picturesque part of the countryside. We also cannot speak highly enough of the owner's hospitality; they were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, always on hand to ensure everything went smoothly throughout our stay.
− The only issue we encountered was with the bath and shower setup. Because of the specific layout, it was a little inaccessible for those of us with joint problems. It is just something to bear in mind if you have limited mobility, but otherwise, it is a truly enchanting place to stay.

10.0Charming little cottage, as in a fairy-tale! Wonderful location with lots of walks for the dog and a lovely pub just 1 minute away. We enjoyed the cosy space inside for socialising, kitchen and sitting area are very spacious, as well as the garden where we enjoyed the lovely weather.
− The single mattresses in the small room were a bit lumpy.
