Disappointing hosts and state of room not up to par but good location and appliances.
4.0The facilities inside of the room were comfortable, e.g: the bed, appreciative of the fridge and the cooking appliances and the back door access.
− Unfortunately the room wasn’t cleaned when my partner and I arrived. There were dirty towels, an unmade bed from the previous guest and overall pretty dirty. We were then told that a cleaner was on their way but unfortunately didn’t arrive into our room as we weren’t in (meanwhile we were purchasing cleaning products to tidy up a room), we were then told that the cleaner was not going to return. There were no toilet rolls, washing up liquids/cleaning products or hand soaps so we had to go out of pocket for these items. The hosts refunded us £20 which felt inadequate for the work we put in to clean the property. It was especially disappointing as the host knew I had surgery in the time we stayed at the room, we weren’t expecting it to be sterile but were expecting it to be clean like you would with any hotel. Once we had gotten settled, there were other people in the house being quite disruptive in the kitchen at late hours (our door was in the kitchen, hence why it was so loud).
Ideal for Wimbledon fortnight,good sized apartment.
8.0We were on the ground floor and able to park just outside the apartment which was ideal for my disabled husband.A fan was provided for the unusual heatwave too.
− Cutlery,glasses and crockery sparce. Floor in the room could have been cleaner,lots of bits underfoot.
Fine for a short stay close to station

− The staff isn’t so prompt to respond to queries. The cutlery and the kitchen in general was not so clean, yet their signage repeatedly warned about extra cleaning charges.
Great price for accomodation near to Wimbledon
