10.0We had the entire ground floor of the house to ourselves, providing ample space and privacy. Our kids enjoyed playing in the courtyard and bonding with the owners' pets. The location is beautiful, right on the banks of the Mincio River, offering stunning views of the valley. The owners were exceptionally kind, sharing fresh eggs from their chickens and delicious local produce, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
− While this historic house is located a bit outside Mantova and requires a car ride to access it, this adds to its charm and peaceful setting. The villa's historic character is part of its appeal and made our stay special.

The owner, a person of refined taste and artistic inclinations, has transformed this estate into a place of elegance and beauty. He even reshaped the landscape to ensure a perfect sunset view from the terrace, adding a touch of magic to the evening. The enormous bedroom with a majestic canopy bed, multiple rooms filled with comfortable sofas, and a bathroom crafted from luxurious marble create an atmosphere of absolute luxury. This alone makes it worth the trip! The hospitality was impeccable, and the host spoke fluent English, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
