PERFECTION……top to bottom!
10.0We loved everything! The hosts, Erin and Josh, were very welcoming and friendly. There was a sweet, handwritten postcard in our room when we arrived, and it brought a smile to my face when I unpacked it at home in California. The breakfast was far and away our very favorite part of our visit! Erin BEAUTIFULLY prepares and presents the most wonderful, thoughtful breakfast we’ve ever had…..anywhere. It was straight out of a magazine spread, and every bite was fresh and delicious. Our two breakfasts at Eileen of Mystic were ‘experiences’……and in a beautiful, charming breakfast room we didn’t want to leave. Our room was perfect, but our bathroom was extra special. Just beautiful and pleasant to use, and to admire. There is even a nice yoga mat in the room, which was much appreciated. There are complimentary beverages, fruit, and bars to enjoy in the entry room, and it’s all fresh, and thoughtfully presented. We took coffee to the backyard and sat under a beautiful, old tree wondering about life at this farmhouse over the many years it’s been there. On our second morning, after enjoying breakfast the day before, we felt like kids on Christmas morning awaiting breakfast again. It’s THAT special. We walked straight down the street into town, and enjoyed the scenery and amazing, old homes along the way. Eileen is in a perfect location. We would definitely stay at Eileen of Mystic again!
