The host (and the person we communicated with) was very friendly and always replied very quickly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the accommodation itself. The two main reasons were the high level of humidity and the strong smells of dampness and mold. Because of this, we were unable to stay for the full four nights that were planned and had to leave early. We informed the host about this as well. It was January, which is a colder time in Tenerife, and the apartment felt very cold despite the small heaters provided. Overall, it was quite uncomfortable. I also have a very sensitive sense of smell, and I clearly noticed a moldy odor, which made it impossible for us to continue staying there. It is a pity, because the apartment is actually very nicely furnished. However, there are visible signs of mold on upholstery, walls, and even lampshades, which seems to worsen the smell over time. Even though the apartment was well cleaned, there was no fresh smell at all. The bed linen also did not smell fresh or clean. My recommendation to the host would be to address the moisture and mold issues, as this would make a big difference. I find it unfortunate, and I personally cannot understand the very positive reviews from others, but it was important for me to write an honest review.

Mit Liebe eingerichtete Unterkunft samt grandiosem Blick auf den Atlantik. Ein schöner Rückzugsort auch wenn es - wie während meines Aufenthalts - draussen regnet und stürmt.
