8.0Bed was so comfortable and everything spotlessly clean, the host was so friendly.
We did enjoy our stay in this quiet hideaway ... but a couple of things are worth noting ....
8.0We enjoyed this property because if was self-contained, quiet, and had almost every facility to make our stay easy. Even a washing machine and a front yard to park our hire car - both very welcome. We had a milk, tea, coffee and chocolate drinks supplied and delicious coconut biscuits which were delicious. Brilliant, reliable internet. There was patio seating plus a table so we were able to sit out most nights until the mozzies came visiting! The owner made us very welcome and left us alone to enjoy her lodge. We would certainly stay at this property if we ever visit Samoa again.
− It's not that we didn't like but: We were surprised there wasn't a hot water supply. The owner's daughter said that this was common in Samoa and that it had been mentioned in the reviews - which wasn't much help to us. Perhaps this should be mentioned in the blurb. However, we learnt to live with cold showers for three nights and boiled the kettle to wash the dishes. Also, we did find the photo of the lodge on the Booking.com website misleading. It cleverly implies that the lodge is surrounded by greenery and is close to the ocean and somewhat on its own. In fact, the picture, taken from the patio of the lodge, is of its front lawn, its hedge, and the building shown (over the hedge) is actually that of a taxi company headquarters!! So no view of the ocean at all - only a hedge!
Great little place
10.0Spotlessly clean, quiet, relaxed. Extra little bits and pieces e,g, water, milk biscuits, power extension cord, Small supermarket a short walk away. Taxi stand across the road. Taumeasinu rental cars nearby were very good. Great communication and info from hosts
− Nothing really, maybe hot water for the shower would have been nice but we knew this beforehand.
