Great warm bolthole, for doing stuf around the South of Brecon

The location is on the main street in an old mining village. don't let that put you off at all. Once in the house, we didn't notice the road at all, and with the bedrooms at the back, slept really well. the heating works a treat and as we got there late, the house had warmed up in half an hour max. the lounge has a log burner, which we got some logs from a garage and made it very comfortable on the following 2 nights. Kitchen is great with an amazing range cooker. Bathroom was warm and the shower great. we went off to swim in the waterfall pools and walk round the trail. Parking for this was 20min away. Second day we went the the National Show caves, which was 10 minutes away. Perfect time away in a lovely bungalow. definately will be returning as there are lots more things we want to do

− Logs for the log burner as an option to pre book as £10 a bag of logs from the garage is a rip off. Or, like we will next time, bring your own.

The bungalow was very nice. The rooms were exactly what we wanted. The equipment was supplied as expected The bungalow was comfortable and clean The garden was very nice and the sun shone so we sat outside Easy to find and access with key safe Good location with plenty of activities to do. Places for the dogs to be exercised. Shops close by for our needs Spoke to the owner who seemed very pleasant and approachable

− Could do with a blind in bathroom and kitchen for extra privacy

Fantastic location for the waterfall trails and PenY Fan, Only 15-20 mins drive away. Large house and garden that is dog friendly. Well equipped kitchen, lovely shower and comfortable beds. would stay here again and will recommend to others

− Rugs could do with a vacuum. everything else was superb

Nice property and very clean. It is larger than I expected from the pictures. Off street parking is great.

− We had issues with the heating and hot water. Teresa had great communication and tried to resolve these for us and provided fire wood as we couldn't get the heating to work.
