10.0Gorgeous house, lovely warm wood fires to keep away the chill. Such character and was perfect for 10 adults + 3 kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots & pans & utensils etc + 2 fridges made meal prep really convenient. Heaps of warm beds with extra blankets. Lots of space for people to spread out and enjoy the house!
− Rubbish disposal is a bit inconvenient, due to when we checked out we could get it collected which was easy but otherwise it would have been a bit of a hassle. One shower so need to space them out but overall these are really minor inconveniences given the amazing space!
If a dark, dingy “haunted house” is your thing, then this place is for you!! Personally this was a major let down!!
1.0Absolutely nothing!!! Considering we were only there for roughly 3 hours when we decided it was unsafe and unhealthy to stay there and had to find alternative accomodation.
− Everything! Deck is definitely not safe even though owner said it had been treated/scrubbed, it’s an accident waiting to happen (scrapes & bruises to prove it) Bathroom door is apparently in working order, but beware you will get stuck in the bathroom!!! House is dark and dingy, black curtains instead of doors in downstairs bedroom. Upstairs is creepy to say the least. Strange writing on the mirror in red, “We are the Shed”. Tiny padlocked doors in the bedroom upstairs. Curtain in bathroom covering up some kind of blocked off door/window. Mould in-between the glass panels. Pictures on bookings.com DO NOT depict the true state/look of this property, very deceiving!!
