Great location to explore the surrounding areas either by walking or car
7.0The property suited our needs for seven adults Location was great close to Monmouth and Ross on Wye
− Check in time was very late 4 pm
Great memories in a lovely pretty place
10.0We loved the games room, and how much space the property had. Beautiful location, Symonds Yat rock was a lovely viewing point to visit nearby. Also Goodrich castle is great to visit.
− The dog barking next door (but we know that was not the hosts fault) Would have been nice to have a mirror in the top floor bathroom, and maybe a shower in the bath for the top floor bathroom.
Wow! What a great find.
10.0Wow what an amazing break we have had. This lovely spacious house was perfect for our family of 7 to enjoy a Christmas break together. Everyone had space to take time away from others when needed and this was particularly useful having a 6 year old with autism. The house is well equipped and has everything you would need for a family with children of various ages. The 16 and 11 year olds were delighted with the pool table in the games room and the games console/TV in the smaller 'snug' room. The kitchen is large and well equipped to easily prepare Christmas lunch and boxing day buffets etc. The kind gift of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was a lovely touch (although we had taken our own). Bedrooms are large, well positioned and comfortable beds and it was extremely useful having multiple toilets/showers etc. We had 3 cars between us and managed to park all 3 directly outside the property. The area is quiet, accessible and has lovely walks. We had a really nice boxing day walk along the riverside to the suspension bridge at Biblins nature area( my son has fond memories of camping here with the scouts 25+ years ago). All in all a fantastic way to have a family holiday. The owners are very helpful and receptive when responding to messages etc. It was amazing to arrive to a decorated Christmas tree, garlands and Christmas lights 🙂. Would highly recommend!! In fact we did look at availability for next Christmas but it's already fully booked.
− There were no negatives from us. The steps up to the property are very steep so not suitable for those with mobility issues but this is well documented in the property details.
