Very disappointing....cramped and uncomfortable

Location was great, ideal for getting to Southwold.

− The cottage is tiny!! The stairs are very steep and awkward to climb. There was a strong smell of damp, despite the attempt to cover it with a diffuser!! The toilet was horribly stained. The furniture was tired and uncomfortable.

I received two phone calls from stay Suffolk during the hour prior to our booked arrival time to say the cleaners weren’

The bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The shower was powerful.

− The whole cottage smelt and hit us as soon as the front door was opened. A dirty smelly, dry mop was found in the kitchen. The whole oven was greasy and unusable. Finding the property was extremely difficult as it is located on an unmarked road. This road didn’t have parking as advertised. The garden could be quite nice if the hedges had been trimmed and weeds pulled up, there is plenty of potential. The heated towel rail was hanging out of the wall.

Nice cottage in Suffolk, good for family. But not easy to locate and overpriced!

Cottage was nice overall. Bathroom was modern, kitchen was ok. Although they looked better in the picture. Stay was comfortable. Garden was nice. Bed was comfortable. If you have a car, everything was easy.

− The hosts should have done better with indicating the location. Really hard to find! Google maps gives a completely different location. If you are not from UK, following Google or Apple maps takes you to a completely different cottage. It was not ideal as I had to disturb two elderly gentlemen. They were kind enough to point me to the correct location even though it was night. Also, the next day a police officer from the court visited the property and asked for a person. This was not a good situation for a guest and I wanted to leave the property at once! The price was too expensive!
