The location and views

− The property was not maintained as shown in the photos .. had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival .. very obvious from levels of dust and overall cleanliness in bathroom and kitchen. It was obvious that it hadn’t been professionally cleaned as we found dead bugs all over the kitchen and bathroom countertops .. the oven and fridge not wiped, this was sadly a common occurrence all over the house. We immediately contacted their manager however they were not cooperative at all and did not attend to see the state of the house even after I sent them photos immediately. They were not prepared to talk to us and didn’t answer calls. Furthermore as we explored the house we found bug ingestions in the bedrooms and contacted them again the shortly after our first complaint on arrival. We were told they couldn’t do anything and was natural to the environment and season. This is completely unacceptable and we should have been told before making the booking which was only 6 days before arriving Both the staff at booking.com and at mossy falls were unhelpful. We couldn’t sleep due to the infestation which clearly could have been avoided if kept clean and precautions taken as I googled the problem and found solutions ready available. They should have told us. We left the property in a higher condition of cleanliness than we found it and took pictures to show them. They have made no attempt to compensate us in any way and I would strongly advise not to use Leavetown Mossy Falls .
