This is a magical location, which is further enhanced by Lisa's hospitality. We are four post 60 Aussie women who were looking to get away from the madding-crowd, and Te Aka delivered in droves. The tranquillity and beautiful immersions in a rich old and new growth forest, with a wonderful array of Lisa, and family's, homemade treats (the biscuits, bread, jams and cucumber pickles were scrumptious). Our tramping expedition with Lisa was full of twists, turns and delightfully tactile experiences---if you do the walk you will know what I mean. This is one of those stays we will be talking about in our 90s, for all the right reasons.

What a gem! Engulfed in Kiwi greenery, we relaxed in the Tree House oasis for two days. The attention to detail and Lisa’s warm welcome with freshly baked goods made us feel every bit welcome. We look forward to staying here again!

Awesome fresh bagels for breakfast, stunning location right in the forest, an amazing comfy bed and the soak in the deep bath was a real treat. Everything we needed to relax.
