A shame about the heat.
8.0Kriston was the best landlady ever, she even helped me repair my mobility scooter and even had screws drills and electric drill do it with. Being in the centre of the town they had installed secondary double glazing to keep out the noise of the traffic but it was a shame that it was so hot we had to open it. There was a great big bed and a small fridge in the room which was vital as we needed so much cold water because of the heat.
− Unfortunately as I am disabled I really struggled with the stairs which could have done with a hand rail both sides, the bed was too low and too soft for me which was quite painful and I had trouble getting up. This was a shame and I am sure that had I been still able bodied it would have been lovely there.
Loved my time there, hope to return soon.

10.0We had a truly wonderful stay. The house is beautifully decorated, extremely cosy and everything was spotless and very well cared for. It felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and we immediately felt at home. The bed was absolutely fantastic (100% linen bedding!) and we slept so well — everything was just incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. Kristen and Alvaro were exceptionally kind and very attentive hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We also loved meeting Eva — she was such a sweet and friendly addition to our stay. It was a place we genuinely looked forward to coming back to after each day of exploring.

Perfect stay in gorgeous location.
10.0Gorgeous property with lots of character in the perfect location. We stayed in the top room with roll top bath. Was a gorgeous spacious room with tea/coffee facilities. Just across the road from the high street and plenty of choice for restaurants and cute little shops. Loved all the recommendations sent beforehand from Alvaro. We walked to the Herd through the fields, which ended up in a few wrong turns and waking through streams, but made it all the more enjoyable. Definitely worth the walk for the incredible lunch. Alvaro couldn’t be more helpful and on hand with any requests/questions straight away. Highly recommend a stay here, with such friendly service and perfect spot for everything on your doorstep
