Da vila e seus restaurantes

− Anúncio falso nada como nas fotografias a vista do Mar do quarto ou varanda não é real pois dá para um recinto fechado. A responsável pelo alojamento entrou por duas vezes no alojamento na nossa ausência onde foi vascular nossos pertences. Certos bens nossos que se encontraram no interior desapareçam e a responsável apesar de entrar sem nossa autorização se permite de vir insinuar que falta lhe muita coisa e fazer vídeos com seu telemóvel quando duas meninas menores se encontram no local que apesar de ter um preço elevado não tinha electrodomésticos alguns excepto a televisão Xiaomi, microondas , frigorífico e forno. Desaconselhado a família que queira passar um momento de sossego e descansar. Fora acusações de roubo por parte da pessoa e a intrusão no interior do alojamento durante nossa estadia o mais grave é ser insultado de ladrão frente a seus próprios filhos.

A cosy place in a cosy little town.

Vista MarVilla was everything I could wish for: cosy, clean, and all to myself. The apartment was fully equipped and I was sorry not to stay more days as I would surely have enjoyed. The apartment is just a short 5-minute walk from the main street and the sea. The Rede Expressos bus stop is also within reach—about a 10-minute walk away. There are two supermarkets nearby (as far as I know), but keep in mind that this is a small town, not a bustling city—so you won’t find department stores or major fast-food chains here. That said, you can still find pizza or a hamburger if you’re craving something familiar. I’d definitely recommend trying the fresh fish—there are plenty of great options around. The area is quiet and feels safe. I walked down to the seafront to watch the sunset and strolled back without a worry—the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Later, I enjoyed a meal at the outdoor table of the apartment, soaking up the peaceful surroundings. Thanks to the fence, the space felt quite private.

− The only downside was some difficulty in finding the house, as the address didn’t include a number and I couldn’t reach the owner at first (she later apologised for missing my call). Luckily it’s not a long street and with the help of the online photos I managed to locate it and speak to the young lady who was cleaning. She couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. She was able to contact the owner and since the apartment was almost ready I was able to leave my suitcase there and go get something to eat. She even shared some great tips about getting around Porto Covo and where to find good restaurants and supermarkets.
