Perfect in every way, we didn't want to leave!

Idyllic Perfection
10.0Amazing luxurious & (very) dog friendly lodge with everything we needed (& more!). Treats for us! (Basket of lovely goodies) including freshly baked bread and cake...and so much more. Treats for our dog, along with his own personalized dog hook and lead. The lodge was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with quality fittings. The huge bed and linen was sumptuous to sleep in...one morning my husband didn't wake up until 11.30 am!!! Definitely never happened before in our almost 40 years together! Such relaxation! Lovely selection of quality bathroom smellies and soaps to enjoy. Outside, our own furnished patio and beautiful enclosed lawned garden where the dog could run, play and snooze in the sun, or shade. This was perfect and we spent a lot of time sitting out here in the heat of the current heatwave. All of this is set on Randall and Jude's gorgeous property. The setting is idyllic. River views, beautiful gardens in a perfect location. Randall and Jude were the most hospitable hosts who went above and beyond to make sure that everything was more than perfect for us. Obvious too, that they are passionate about all that they do. As we (sadly) left today, we were presented with a goody bag for our journey home. Delicious home baked sausage rolls which we enjoyed at our lunch stop. Overall we were blown away by everything at the lodge and the kindness of our hosts. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for making our stay so lovely and relaxing 😊
