Ήταν όλα τέλεια όπως και την προηγούμενη φορά που είχαμε μείνει εκεί. Σίγουρα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για τη φιλοξενία και την ζεστασιά.

We had a lovely holiday

The couple looking after the apartment were lovely and made us welcome with little gifts. Their English was limited but we managed to communicate well enough. On-site parking was very convenient. The location was good, with Tavernas, supermarkets a 5 - 10 minute walk, and the beach a bit further. Also good for day tripping - Elafonissi about 2 hours drive, Rethymno 30 minutes, Chania 50 minutes. Local Tavernas were friendly and reasonably priced. The pool, which is shared with the other apartments in the complex, was nice and never very busy. The beach is great and we particularly enjoyed it when the waves were rolling in. Sun beds cost us €9 for 3, for as long as we wanted, from the beachside Taverna. The others were for the private use of the hotels behind them.

− Really, the beds were very firm. Probably a matter of personal preference but some of us didn't sleep that well as a result. The bedroom with the double bed is quite small. The local roosters early morning shouting contest was a bit noisy, as we're the local dogs when they set one another off during the night. It's not really a traditional village with a centre, more of a strip development serving the excellent beach, so no village square to sit and watch the world go by, but it did provide everything we needed.

Hosts were very welcoming. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the showers were excellent.

− AC in one bedroom didn’t work.

Good value, family run apartments

Family run, had a nice feel with Roses in the garden and allotment plots with veggies growing. Decent pool which was clean and lovely views over the hills. 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment which was good value for money, newly refurbished. Very quiet, not many other guests.

− The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me.
