Iconic comfortable accommodation in fine surroundings. Everything has been thought of - real home from home. Vast array of utensils / pots / cutlery/ massive double fridge & freezer and a wee wine cooler. Brilliant views from house to coast and a scope to hone in on the wildlife. Great beaches within short distance and cliffs and stacks packed with flora and fauna virtually on your doorstep.

Very comfortable and spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent pre arrival information. It is a remote location, but you know that when you book! The community shop 7 or 8 miles away is very good.

A stylish cozy luxurious treat

Just beautiful - what a treat! A really stylish and comfortable cozy home from home that I’d happily hole up in for weeks. We loved the sauna for when we were frozen from the crystal clear sea at nearby Mealista. The starlings nesting in the dry stone wall next to the road were amazing when not messing on our drying washing or vehicle! Well stocked little kitchen and different living spaces were ideal. I just loved watching the sea and the clouds from the two comfortable observation areas. We’d be delighted to book again if it wasn’t a bit further than ideal from the grandparents we’re visiting

− WiFi very glitchy- fibre optic installation is underway in the area so hopefully can be upgraded? Blind cords were low quality and constantly came apart in our hands and needed reattaching. I think it’s a Scandinavian kit house so the windows were quirky and there’s no wired in lighting so it takes ages on a gloomy day to go round the house switching everything off. Cozy on a chilly day but can quickly become boiling hot if the weather improves then you have to manage the quirky windows. Nice Pilates and cardio gym but biggest kettlebell was 4kg so I’d bring our own weights if we rented again.
