From the moment I arrived at Da Elena in San'Angelo Muxaro, I felt completely at home.
10.0My stay in San'Angelo Muxaro was wonderful—the apartment was exactly what I hoped for, and every need was met with care and attention. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making me feel truly welcome.
− I honestly can't think of a way to improve my experience. It was fantastic!
A truly wonderful place! I already miss it.
10.0Everything! Easy and friendly check-in/check-out with the very nice Camillo and his lovely nephew. The apartment itself is perfect, well-equipped, fantastic shower, good internet Wi-Fi (fine for work video calls), pristine clean, comfortable, great coffee machine (and pods), balcony overlooking the beautiful square… There’s a wonderful museum next door which is a must, and don’t just skip round it but read the info and watch the videos and pay attention to the artefacts because it’s fantastic and helps you understand some references you’ll notice around the village! The Tuesday market with meats, cheeses, clothing, bedding, etc… The churches - I went to the main one but also the evangelical church where I was made to feel so welcome by Angela, Rosa, Rafaelo (who kindly gave me an Italian Bible), and Michele the pastor. Giangi, a local producer of premium olive oil so very kindly took me to see his family’s olive grove, explained the process, and did me a tasting session, and I got to meet his sweet mother-in-law. My dog was so happy to meet a neighbouring dog, Polly, to play together. What I loved the most in this truly charming village with its panoramic views are the kind, warm, friendly, happy, genuine, and helpful people. My goodness I’d never heard of Sant’Angelo Muxaro and now I’ll never forget it.
− Everything was perfect except the strongly perfumed fabric conditioner on the sheets and towels. And the road between SAM and Mussomeli can be quite challenging because it’s very uneven in places - when you see bumps take it steady and you’ll be fine but I wouldn’t recommend driving it in the dark.
