Great location very convenient. Good value for money

Though the room was adequate , the network issue was highly frustrating.

The apartment was clean , bedlinen clean, bed comfortable, shower clean , hot water available. All round decor pleasing to the eye.

− The WiFi issue was absolutely dismal. If you got 2 minutes of Wi Fi connection you were very lucky. I missed out on 2 work meetings due to no network. It said WiFi connected but no network most of the time. Could not connect on any TV channel if not the TV freezing all the time. Sent the owner a message about this and he just told me he is out in Cape Town and does not know what is wrong with the TV. I felt he couldn't care as he was not there. I had to go to the main house to borrow an iron every time i wanted to iron and felt like a beggar and that i was worrying the other tenants and the helper. I bought myself a swimming costume as i live in Ireland and thought what a pleasure there is a swimming pool i could take dip in the evening, all to find a dirty pool , green algae at the bottom , with some form of insects diving around in the pool. There is no air condition in the apartment but a fan yet the place is advertised to have an aircon. The outside steps going down to the apartment are not safe especially at night. The safety issue when entering the property as you have to leave the car , walk to the gate and open a combination lock, drive in and go back to lock the combination lock, that is a huge safety issue and i was not comfortable going out at night, therefore i missed out meeting friends and family late due to this safety issue. On Tuesday the weather was overcast all day and i found the room quiet dark due to the dark green wall paint and the lighting is not adequate to illuminate that room. I felt like i was in a dungeon with no sound as i could not connect the TV nor my laptop. All in all my stay was very frustrating due to lack of WiFi and network and the fact that the owner did not seem to care even when i told him. I also complained to Bookings .com and was reimbursed R195. 00 towards my next trip which i feel was an insult on its own. I so wanted to cancel but knew i would never get my money back.
