− De muggen, maar de host doet er al zoveel mogelijk aan: er zijn muggenramen, insectwerend middel in stopcontacten, insectwerende spray.

Erholsamer Ruhe Urlaub zum totalen Abschalten

Die Ruhe. Es war weg von der Hauptzivilisation. Zum Abschalten u. runterfahren super. Der Pool sauber, das Meer vor der Haustür. Genug Sonnen- u. Schattenplätze. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter super (alle 3 Tage kommt er zur Poolreinigung u. kann auch nach Absprahe Einkäufe mitbringen). Die Sonnenuntergänge sind super und mit etwas Glück kann in der Entfernung sogar Delphine sehen (wie wir).

− Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas beschwerlich von Tkon (Fähre von Biograd nach Tkon) zum Haus. Die Straße / der Weg zum Parkplatz in der Nähe vom Haus (zu Fuss dann nochmal knapp 700Meter am Wasser entlang über Steine oder mit dem Boot sich vom Vermieter mitnehmen lassen) ist ca. 6 Km lang quer über die Insel und man braucht schon knapp 20min. und man muss sehr auf sein Auto achten bzgl. Schlaglöcher und Steine und Eisenmatten in der Straße. Es gab keine Waschmaschine - ist aber zu verschmerzen... 😉

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Ruhe pur. Direkt am Meer. Toller Pool. Viele Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten draußen und drinnen im Schatten und in der Sonne. Das Meer ist traumhaft schön und glasklar. Blick auf die Kornaten und mega Sonnenuntergänge inklusive. Tolles Beleuchtungskonzept am Abend. Toller gemauerter Außengrill. Bequeme Betten, schöne Bäder. Fliegennetze und Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten in den Schlafzimmern. Der Parkplatz ist ca. 400 m weiter weg, der Vermieter transportiert das Gepäck bei An- und Abreise mit dem Boot zum/vom Haus. Die restliche Zeit geht man zu Fuß am Felsen-Strand entlang. Hier sollte man eine Stirn- oder Taschenlampe dabei haben, wenn es dunkel ist. Am besten bei Anreise schon einen großen Trinkwasservorrat mitnehmen, dann muss man nicht soviel schleppen.

− Piękna lokalizacja, ale standard poniżej oczekiwań Dom ma niesamowity potencjał, położony jest w cudownym i spokojnym miejscu, a basen i gościnność właścicieli sprawiły, że na początku czuliśmy się wyjątkowo. Niestety, bardzo szybko rzeczywistość zweryfikowała nasze oczekiwania. Ogromnym problemem był brak klimatyzacji na piętrze, przez co noce były nie do zniesienia. Wracamy z wakacji zmęczeni i niewyspani, a nie wypoczęci, jak to powinno mieć miejsce. Co gorsza, brakowało podstawowego wyposażenia, które jest kluczowe, gdy spędza się urlop na odludziu. Kuchnia, mimo że dom przeznaczony jest dla 6 osób, była nieprzygotowana na goszczenie takiej grupy. Stare, zniszczone garnki i patelnie, uszczerbione talerze oraz brak desek do krojenia uniemożliwiły normalne przygotowywanie posiłków. Ogród wokół domu, zamiast być miejscem relaksu, był zaniedbany. Połamane krzesła i ogólny bałagan sprawiły, że to, co widzieliśmy na zdjęciach w serwisie Booking.com, nie miało nic wspólnego z rzeczywistością. Dodatkowym rozczarowaniem była kwestia jacuzzi, z którego nie mogliśmy korzystać swobodnie. Działało ono jedynie w godzinach wyznaczonych przez właściciela, co znacząco ograniczało nasz komfort. Mamy nadzieję, że te uwagi zostaną wzięte pod uwagę, ponieważ standard obiektu, a szczególnie jego wyposażenie i czystość, wymaga natychmiastowej poprawy. Wierzymy, że to miejsce ma szansę być idealnym celem podróży, ale wymaga zaangażowania i dbałości o detale, które obecnie są zaniedbane.

In the back of beyond (almost)

Honestly, when we arrived after driving along the winding, narrow road to the beach where our host Boris was supposed to meet us, we wondered if it wasn't too big of a change from our life in the bustling city. Even our dog looked at us distrustfully. But then, one look from the veranda at the sea with the sunset was enough, and we fell in love with the place. The photos accurately reflect the location both inside and out. And if you truly want to escape the crowds, fast pace, and noise, at least on vacation (so be aware, one seagull kept squawking under our window), you're in the right place. Boris was a great and attentive host, ready to help us at any time. You just need to know that, especially out of season, you are in a secluded location where city conveniences are not a given.
