The stay at Sonesta was disappointing.
1.0The location was decent.
− The breakfast was disgusting. The entire hotel had different levels of awful smells. The pool was very outdated and the “spa” had plywood over it with dusty plants on it. We booked a room with a separate living room and bedroom but they were not separate at all. The carpet in the room was disgusting,my socks turned brown from walking around the room. There was a German cockroach in our rooms kitchen area. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.
I always see Sonesta popping up when i am booking my hotel. This time I decided to try it and unfortunately I regretted
5.0Breakfast was very nice
− Bathroom was pathetic. Every metal eg the towel rails and the bathtub were rusted and disgusting.
It was giving Motel vibes in a what was called a Resort.
2.0The staff was Great! The breakfast was good.
− The hotel is under construction. The check in area and hall leading to the elevators was fine. The elevators reeked of weed. There was what looked like mud...at least I really hope it was, in large clumps going down the hallway. I did let the front desk know and it never moved during my stay. The room was old and paint chipped on the walls, the baseboard under the window looked like something had been chewing on it. The water damage in the bathroom had been poorly painted over. The tub was dripping water all night and the walls were super thin so the crying child across the hall was heard clearly during our stay.
